Silver Shadow Showcase
| I got these great shots from Dennis Casanova, a photographer from Florida, He writes : This nifty 1973 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow currently belongs to a friend of mine here in
Merrit Island Florida (which is near Cape Canaveral Space Center.) It is a nicely
maintained Silver Shadow in Caribean Gold. It was first purchased by someone in
Beverly Hills, Calif. and finally made it way here to Florida. |

After finding your website, I could not
resist putting a couple of pictures of my 1978 British plated Silver
Shadow 2. These pictures were taken the day I bought her. Now having had
some much needed tender loving care, she is being driven regularly by me
around the UK. Her Chassis number is SRH 34016. What about that for a
colour!
Best wishes, Keith Tapson.

| I am working on my new car presently--1971 RR Shadow LWB
export LHD, Velvet Green. Serial no. 10010. It is by far the most enjoyable car I have owned, and the most appealing design of the later cars. People come up to me whenever I park and ask questions and share their enthusiasm. Ken Hohenberger, Massachusetts, U.S.A. |

Well, this is almost a Silver Shadow: our 1972 T-Series, SBH 13247 in
Canberra Australia. It is in fine leak-free (!) condition, and has travelled about
300,000km, driven regularly. The owners are Peter and Richard Treacy, Canberra. The
car has always been kept up in fine condition, with overhauls and renovation when
necessary, but not allowing it to look shabby ever. It is rust free (dry Canberra
weather), garaged, and its Silver Mink paint is excellent, with only minor renovations
required over the years. The interior is also excellent, the leatherwork is unworn
and was resprayed ten years ago, regulkarly treated with Hide Food and protected by loosly
attached lambskins. With the high compression, big carburettors, no smog control and
big bore, these were the fastest Bentleys until the Turbos arrived in the 1980s.
Likewise, having been garaged always, the woodwork is almost unmarked. The tyres are
Bridgestone 215.75x15s. |
